This short biopic documents María Teresa Murillo (b. 1929), a Colombian pteridologist. Through her collections, publications, and mentoring of others, Murillo has been an important contributor to the field for decades. Her 2008 co-authored checklist to the ferns and lycophytes of Colombia was the first to compile all known recorded species for the country.
