This appears to be a species in Thelypteris subg. Amauropelta sect. Lepidoneuron following Smith’s 1974 classification. It appears similar to T. arborea, but differs by having fully 2-pinnate laminae. The habit is sub-scandent, reminiscent of T. pteroidea.
