Its not clear to me whether E. archboldii and E. angustifolium are distinct taxa. Holttum applied the name E. archboldii to specimens from western Papua, and the name E. angustifolium to plants from eastern New Guinea. Morphologically, he distinguished them only by leaf size. The large leaves of this plant from eastern PNG would suggest the name E. archboldii applies, however that also suggests a range extension for E. archboldii. My collection from the same site (Sundue 3735) has much smaller leaves and keys to E. angustifolium following Holttum. For what its worth, in the field I provided them with different numbers under the impression that they were in fact distinct species. More study is needed. Comments are appreciated.
